I was lucky enough to be invited to my local Shaw’s Supermarket a couple of weeks back to be introduced to a new program they started called Nutrition IQ (more about this tomorrow). I met Jennifer Shea, the store’s registered dietitian and she shared some yummy Fall recipes with us.
Time: 5 minutes
- 6 ounces honey flavored Greek yogurt
- ½ cup unsweetened canned pumpkin puree
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1-2 tablespoons honey
- 4 ice cubes
Method: Place all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth.
I can’t tell you how delicious this is. I am not into Greek yogurt, but this smoothie is amazing. Who doesn’t have a can of pumpkin in their pantry right now?? ENJOY!
