I was inspired by Sarah at Nurse Loves Farmer to write this post.
Its what I’m currently doing this rainy and damp Tuesday morning…
Obsessing over: Holidays! So much to do and the days are just whipping by. I am hosting a cookie swap a week from Sunday and I still need to make the favors, cook the lunch, bake and package my own cookies (which reminds me I need to get my thinking cap on for my packaging). Also, our Christmas cards arrived yesterday so I need to start mailing those out TODAY. We found our perfect Christmas tree on Sunday, but its sitting in the living room naked! Time to get that tree decorated.
Working on: My blog is new and needs lots of my attention. Its become my OBSESSION and I have SO MANY things to write about and share with all of you. Also working on my home-made Christmas gifts! YUP, I said home-made. It is a tradition I started when Dr. T and I first lived together and now our families look forward to it (do you family)?
Thinking about: What am I not thinking about?! I’m thinking about how I’d like to have a little more alone time, ya know, mommy time to do something like yoga. Ahhh, yes, breathing uninterrupted…its the little things. Plus, there is BIG news on the horizon for this family of 3.
Anticipating: The BIG news I mentioned above, yeah, its BIG and I’m fully anticipating. EEP! I am really looking forward to this Christmas. Last year was technically G’s first Christmas, but she was less than two months old and I had a blocked duct and felt miserable. Now that she is one and toddling all over this Christmas will be fantastic! Tearing presents open and possibly tearing down the tree. Bring it!
Listening to: Just the click click of the keyboard as I type this and the hum of the air purifier. G is down for a nap and its peaceful.
Wishing: Wishing for more time in the day. Now that it is dark by 4:30 PM I tend to loose my steam and become pretty unmotivated to do anything but cook dinner and play with G before she goes to bed.
So, how about you? What are you currently doing?

  1. aww it's ok. don't let stuffs get to you just chill & let the holidays happen. i never understood why it drives people nuts, but then again we never have money to spend on pressies so… yea 😛

  2. Hello! I ran across your blog on Blogher. My third was also 2 months old last Christmas. She actually slept through all the present opening. This will be a wonderful Christmas for you! I still remember Christmas with my first when he was a year old. Just remember, don't waste your money on presents, they only want the boxes and wrapping paper 🙂

  3. I've been obsessing over our websites and blogs and haven't done much for Christmas yet; sure I will hit the panic button soon!
