Let me begin by saying that for every new Facebook “Like” Bright Future International receives, $1 will be donated to helping children in Kenya, Burundi, or Russia. A simple task that has a very significant impact.
What is Bright Future International? BFI is a charitable organization helping underprivileged children achieve a better future by promoting values like compassion, self esteem, the willingness to help others, and hope. BFI is committed to funding social and educational programs for children around the world.
While reading about the Bright Future Studio in Russia: Let’s Give Children All We’ve Got I thought of the three children to whom my mother is a Godmother. All three children, born in Russia, were adopted, very young by a close friend of my mother. If the children were to have stayed in their former circumstances their lives would have been far different than what they are now. The children were adopted to a couple with high designations who were able to provide them invaluable opportunities. Without going into too much detail they were born to a young mother and father. The mother was severely abused by their father and his abuse eventually turned to them. I can only imagine that Bright Future International would have been a wonderful opportunity for them to rise above their difficult circumstances. I am ecstatic knowing BFI’s services are available now for children like my mom’s Godchildren who might not have the option of adoption.
There are 100 children studying at Oleg Mityaev’s Bright Future Studio. They are developing their talents through music, acting and art classes taught by teachers who embody the qualities of positivity, compassion and love – which they in turn pass on to the kids. Additionally, the children go on field trips to help provide positive services for the community and meet positive role models in Russia’s artistic, technical and athletic community.
A 9-year-old Bright Future Studio student said, “My dream is for the whole world to be covered in flowers and for there to never be dirty streets and sad people.” With your support, the Oleg Mityaev Foundation can continue encouraging children to believe in their dreams!

awesome – thank you for sharing!
$1 isn't much when you think how much money we waste daily be in on coffee or at the drive thru. I've been guilty of giving my daughter a dollors worth of change to toss in the fountain at our local mall. I'll definitely be rethinking that from now on. Thanks so much for sharing.
Awesome… good things to keep in mind! =)

Love this. I have a friend who adopted a girl with Down Stndrome from the Ukraine. At age 5 they institutionalize these kids. It's so sad.

Thank you for sharing this! This is such a wonderful cause. I think sometimes people take things for granted. These children don't get that luxury. I “like” the page.
Liked, I noticed the first Facebook page doing this (likes for charity) was the NE Patriots prior to SuperBowl – seems to be the NEW thing now and a great idea too!
