Saturday’s Top 5 Laughs!

TGIF! This has been a really fast and full week for us here. This mama is spent! DH had an interview in NY Friday and I’m really hoping that we get to make New Rochelle our home. Fingers crossed right? Any of my readers out there from that area or live near by? It is only a couple hours from where we are now which will be nice for staying close to our family and friends. Guess we will wait and see.
SUPERBOWL is Sunday in case you live under a rock and had no idea. We will be cheering on the Patriots from the comforts of our cozy couch. Check out our awesome chili recipe and make it TODAY cause it gets better with age.
Congratulations to Melissa, over at The Mommyhood Chronicles, who is also the host of today’s blog hop for winning my giveaway! And, don’t forget to come back next Friday when I launch the ErgoBaby carrier giveaway!
  1. G has turned into a STAGE 5 clinger! I mean this little lady is constantly grabbing at my legs or running to the door when dada gets home and grabbing onto him for dear life. Just a phase? It’s cute, but I’m not use to it just yet especially when I’m trying to use the bathroom and she is banging down on the door. Um, a little privacy for 2 minutes would be greatly appreciated. Just saying.
  2. Stuffed animals are the new go to item here for toys. Personally I can’t stand stuffed animals and just think of dust when I look at them. G likes to bring them ALL to me one at a time. Its cute, and I guess it is helping with my stuffed animal phobia! Ew.
  3. We have a sign over our bed that reads, “Always Kiss Me Goodnight” in Italian. On those rare occasions when G wakes up way too early we put her back in bed with us and she drinks her milk. {Neither one of us can function before the clock strikes 6am} She points at the sign and we read it out loud to her and make a kiss sound. Now when we read it she purses her lips and makes a kissy sound. Its too precious!
  4. I don’t know if it was intentional or not, but a certain little someone napped right through their scheduled pedi appointment. Mama had to call and reschedule. Coincidence? Now how am I supposed to write the 15 month update?!
  5. Everything I have in my hand G needs. I was writing the grocery list the other day and she flipped her lid because I wouldn’t giver her the pen or pad. If I’m eating then she needs to try some of what I’m eating too. If I’m drinking then she needs to drink from my water bottle too. I even went so far as to buy her a little Camelback water bottle since mine is huge and she is obsessed with drinking from it. Guess what, it didn’t work. Clearly my water bottle is still better. Since I’m an only child this is NUTS to me. I mean, I’m not use to sharing. LOL
