Saturday’s Top 5 Laughs!

February 18, 2012

Welcome to the weekend y’all! It is February vacation next week! Who is excited?!
  1. G is into twirling now. I’m convinced she has my genetics when it comes to her groove {thank goodness}. I’ll try not to be too pushy when it comes to dance classes. I only danced competitively for nearly 17 years.  No pressure. LOL
  2. We have all these pretties for G’s hair, ya know, barrettes and headbands. Typically I “do” her hair while she is eating in her highchair so she is distracted. It goes like this, I put the barrette in, she takes it out, hands it to me, and then puts egg or toast or pancakes or enchilada in her hair. You get the picture right? So I ask you what is your strategy for these hair pretties?
  3. She likes to bring us toys or anything one by one until we can’t possibly hold another thing. Then she takes them back to their original place, again, one by one.
  4. G still has a wacky fascination with the trash can and laundry hamper. She sees us put trash and dirty laundry into these containers, so she likes to follow suit…almost. She throws away toys and clean clothes. I guess this will be helpful once she figures out exactly what goes where and why (Daddy’s stuff=trash, because daddies are smelly).
  5. We went over a friends house for a play-date the other day and the other two girls are two and a half and seven months. G has a pretty outgoing personality and is obsessed with babies. The older girl isn’t too sure about sharing yet so when G picked up one of her toys she would cry out for her mom. When this happened G looked at me with this dazed and confused sort of look like, “Um, I don’t get it, did I do something.”

lol she's adorable and sounds like way too much fun. The only way I can get my two year old to let me tie her hair is to say “hurry, daddy's coming. Tash, let mommy pretty you”. my littlest girl always likes to look pretty for daddy.

I don't have an issue with hair pretties [I have boys!] but my littlest one puts food in his hair all. the. time.

Found you through the blog hop. 🙂
