So we made it home…all three of us in one piece! We departed Alexandria, Virginia and my parents at around 8:30am this rainy, Sunday morning and DH drove between 80 and 90 miles an hour for us to get home around 5pm. Gabriella was a rock start, sure she had her moments (we all did). She took two naps which were about 45 minutes apiece. YAHOO! I think we had three pit stops along the way. Did I mention my parents flew US Air our of Reagan National Airport and left Virginia at 3pm and arrived back in Providence before we did? Yep! UGH!
Am I exhausted? You bet cha! I am most looking forward to getting into my own bed tonight and snuggling down into the sheets. Hell, I need a good rest for what awaits me tomorrow. Lets see first I shall have a quick doctor appointment at 8:30am, then grocery shopping because we have NO FOOD, then there is the hundred or so loads of laundry to do and maybe I’ll pass the vacuum across the floors and then finally cook dinner. Yep, that about sums up how my Monday is going to go. So much for easing into the week.
Weather is looking totally gross too so that should makes things ever more pleasant. So much for our Spring-like temperatures?! Back to cold, damp, and windy. Ah, it was nice while it lasted. I wonder what yoga pants and hoodie I shall choose for my duties tomorrow?
