We are on the road headed back home from our week long trip to the Washington, DC area.
Cherry Blossoms were abundant and bloomed early this year so we were fortunate to seem them during their peak time. If you ever get the chance to be here during March or April (and don’t have crazy allergies) I suggest you take the time to check them out for yourself.
DH gave his conference paper on Friday to a panel for the Renaissance Society of America even though he came down with a sore throat and sinus cold.
I’m writing from the car right now so my post will be short. Check out this picture I took early this morning of a quaint, old, row house in Old Town Alexandria, VA among the fallen Cherry Blossom petals.
