Each year I plant a vegetable garden in a raised bed that my father built for me at our current home. When he initially built it we filled it with this wonderful rich soil from my husbands grandfather’s garden center. After a couple of planting seasons the soil is not as rich as it was initially even after rotating all the soil.
So, with that said, this season I will introduce Expand ‘n Gro™ to my vegetable garden and mix it into the old soil. This will be such an easy way for me prep my gardens for the Spring and Summer. And since this concentrated planting mix expands up to three times, I won’t need as much, which will ultimately save me money! Did I mention that once the soil is all mixed it will be fertilized for up to six months? As a mom of a toddler, the last thing on my mind is when to feed my garden! My garden may also yield up to three times the flowers and veggies with this soil than with our native soil.
We live in New England where the Spring and Summer can be really wet or really dry. The all natural fibers hold up to 50% more water than basic potting soil so I won’t have to water as often which saves me time and is environmentally friendly.
If you are a gardener, I recommend trying out Micracle-Gro Expand ‘n Gro Concentrated Planting Mix this Spring and Summer. Check out this video on how you can use this planting mix to aid your garden and flowers.
