So we saved up a bunch of those Gifts to Grow points from Pampers when we use to use “sposies” aka disposable diapers. We ordered G a Little Tikes Cozy Coupe 30th Anniversary Car with the points. It was something ridiculous like 4,000 points which probably cost over a grand in diapers and wipes. This thing cost $49.99 on Amazon. Rewards eh? What a joke. I’m pretty certain everyone and their mother has this toy, right?
Today DH and I built this thing. We hauled the Coupe out of the basement and took all the pieces out of the box. To our amazement this thing had at least a bajillion pieces and took us just over an hour to assemble. Probably why I am rewarding myself with some vino right now. So, if you plan on purchasing this Coupe or already have consider yourself warned. Plastic is a bitch!
Not to mention, when we took G outside and put her in it she had a full blown tantrum. The only thing she was concerned with was running around the yard. I was able to take one picture of her in it before she started to climb out! She hasn’t looked at it since. I hope she eventually warms up to it.

Soon as I saw that car it reminded me of when my guys were little and I can't believe they make it the same. Little Tikes always lasted forever. She is getting so big. She will enjoy it in time.
So cute! Give her time. It won't be long and she'll happily sit inside and pretend to drive with a smile on her face.
Look at her! H hated the cozy coupe now loves it! She will love it soon enough:) So cute!
Right now she's probably in the mindset of 'run and be free!' like Princess Nagger was at that age…she'll get obsessed over the coupe at some point – and stay obsessed until she's too big for it but still wants to drive it…
