Latest Developments:
- Coloring! You have colored two pieces of fabric-covered furniture. Whoops!
- You have learned to give hugs and kisses. You like to grab our legs and jump up and down to get us to pick you up.
- You squeeze our noses and say “Beep,” thanks to Papa D.
- You are still teething!
- Your new favorite book is “I Love You, Stinky Face.”
- You can say many words: cheese, Mama, Dada, Nonna, Papa (sounds more like Bapa), kitty, doggy, bee, baby, tick tock, hot, keys, bye-bye (in a soothing Southern drawl), Sassy, meow-meow, mini-mini, purple, moo, burr, ewww, diaper, boo boo.
- You let us know when something that you want to touch is “hot.”
- For now, you call Grandma “Tic Tack” or “Ti Ta.”
- We moved to New York and you have settled in to our new home nicely. There is so much space here I think at times you get overwhelmed. Also, there are two flights of stairs here and you love to go up and down {with supervision of course}.
- You like to hum yourself to sleep at night.
- You are obsessed with the mailman and the mail. When we ask you if you want to go get the mail you run for the door.
- You love to make faces and strike poses for us and in the mirror.
- It has taken awhile, but you are now officially ticklish.
- You wave at people in the market. It’s as if you want them to come over to tell us that you’re adorable.
- You stack cups and blocks. You also like to move blocks, rings, and cups from one place to another.
- You like to take things in and out of bags, boxes, and containers, too.
- Your favorite foods are guacamole and hummus.
- You like to watch the same Baby Einstein Beethoven dvd. You watch it every morning while you drink your milk.
- You love Elmo, but you do not like to watch Sesame Street.
- You like to mop the floor.
- You throw things on the floor when you feel angry.
- You like to scream every so often, but I think you are just trying to talk to us.
Clothes: You’re wearing 24 months & 2T in both tops and bottoms.
Sleep: Bedtime is around 7pm and (most of the time) you sleep until 6:30-7 a.m.
Nap(s): Just one nap a day now. Usually between 12:30 and 1 p.m. and for one and a half to two hours.
Eating: You drink your whole milk from a bottle and will only drink water from the sippy cup. We need to work on this…STILL. You love spicy foods. I think this is due to me eating so much Chipotle during my pregnancy??!!
Teeth: 4 top teeth and 4 bottom teeth plus 2 top and 2 bottom molars.

ALready- 19 months- crazy!! I cant wait till Z man gets there. SUch a fun age!
Leila loves hummus too. She will eat it with a spoon. Strange kid!
