Chalked Your Hair? A Summer #Beauty Trend!

Have you heard about hair chalk? I remember seeing some friends getting it done at an event recently and was pretty intrigued. Then I noticed that my salon was offering it as a service. Hmm…It seems to be a summer trend this year.

I was sent Hair Color Chalk to try out. Now by no means am I hair stylist so I was nervous and a bit hesitant to how it was going to look and if I could even do it. Hair Color Chalk is a temporary hair color in which you paint your hair with colored chalk. Sounds simple enough right?

There are just four simple steps to follow to achieve the chalked look:

1. Get your hair damped where you would like to apply the colors.
2.  Rub on the pastel on the damp section of hair.
3.  Straighten or curl your hair after finished rubbing.
4.  You can also do this with dry hair, just wet the pastel and rub onto your hair.
So, what do you think of my first attempt? Not too bad right?
You can order your own hair chalk here if you want to try out this hot summer trend. Here are some frequently asked questions. I love that it washes right out with one shampoo. You can add funk to your hair and not worry about long term color. The whole process was super easy. It was a bit on the messy side, but nothing too bad and that I couldn’t clean up with a paper towel.

You can connect with Hair Color Chalks on Facebook to get beauty tips and special savings!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
