Kleenex Hand Towels: “Guest Ready” Bathroom #CGC #CleanHands

We moved from Rhode Island to New York just this May. It wasn’t the easiest move, especially with a toddler, but we did it. Now that we are here you can only imagine the amount of guests we have had in just a few short months! It seems every weekend we are entertaining guests. Our friends and family have been really supportive by coming and visiting on a regular basis which has helped make the transition that much more easy.
We are lucky enough to have a guest bedroom and bathroom on a separate floor so when our guests come to stay they have their privacy. I like to make them feel welcome and at home with all the amenities they will need during their stay. My tips for a stress free visit are:
  • Prepare the bed and bath linens before guests arrive so no one is asking you where they can find a towel. I keep a pair of bath, hand, and face towels in a dresser in the guest bedroom at all times so I’ll never forget!
  • Before your guests arrive ask them if there are any particular food items they will need during their stay. Some people prefer certain types of creamers for their coffee or special milks even snacks. No one wants to be dashing out to the market when you have guests.
  • Lastly, I always provide a tray or basket of items that one may forget when packing such as a toothbrush, lotion, toothpaste, Q-tips, etc. Next time you are out at your local pharmacy or big box store take a trip down the travel size aisle and get everything you need for a dollar a piece! You must know what its like to forget to pack something?! Total buzzkill!
Since most of our guests are from Rhode Island aka “The Ocean State” and since I am DESPERATELY missing the ocean, that is the theme of our guest bathroom. There are photos hung in there of Castle Hill Lighthouse, where T.J. and I were married, and luckily when we moved in the walls were painted a pale blue color…ahhhhh…can you hear the waves crashing on the beach?
Well, I thought I would get a little creative and add some anchors to my Kleenex Hand Towel box! I know I know, totally adorable! I have a slight anchor addiction, but that is for another time. Want to know how I made it? Just 6 easy peasy steps and all in less than fifteen minutes!

Supplies:
  • Scissors
  • Pencil or marker
  • Hole punch
  • Craft paper of your choice {mine was vacation themed}.
  • Image of your choice.
  • Glue
  • Kleenex Hand Towels
Instructions:
  1. Gather your supplies.
  2. Trace image onto craft paper.
  3. Cut out your image.
  4. This was an extra step for me since I had to hole punch the top of the anchor.
  5. Position and glue your image to the Kleenex Hand Towel Box.
  6. Finito! Pretty Pretty!
