Saturday’s Top 5 Laughs!

I think we got all of our funnies is just one single day this week. Wednesday was pretty ridiculous here. Happy weekend by the way! Still hot as you know what so hopefully you are staying cool wherever you are.
  1. T.J. went to work on Wednesday around 7:30 AM. He drives about 45 minutes to New Rochelle where Iona College is to teach a four week summer course. I decided to take G for a walk around the neighborhood early since I knew it was going to be a scorcha. We had finished our walk around 9:15 ish so I quickly rain into the house to pee and grab the diaper bag. I wanted to run an errand. I walked right out the door {and slammed it shut} only to realize that the keys were INSIDE! Luckily I had my phone so I called T.J. and told him, as he was about to teach, get your ass back her because we are sweaty, thirsty, and pissy now that we are locked out. I took G for another walk {I think we walked some six miles that morning} and then we played outside on the grass waiting for daddy. Note to self, make a spare key for the stroller! Dummy!
  2. Same day as above I was getting G ready for her nap so naturally I changed her diaper. Well, how I didn’t realize it until then that she had the biggest diaper explosion in her entire toddler life I’ll never know. Of course it was a cloth diaper too. After I got her cleaned up and changed I went to the bathroom to wash my hands only to discover there was poo on my clothes! So now I’m changing and doing poo laundry. Went back into her room to start the whole nap routine again to find poo on the carpet! Seriously I thought I was on candid camera or something! Here is the thing, don’t give your toddler blueberries, guacamole, and pinto beans all in the same 24 hour period! Note to self!
  3. G like to say, “No, No, No”, but then do whatever it is we tell her not to do. Like if she were to climb onto the coffee table I would say to her, “No, No, No”. Well she says that and then does it anyway! I guess we will have to work on this.
  4. Tantrums have begun to rear their ugly head. Am I in trouble or what? Any advice cause this Mama isn’t laughing.
  5. Well, that is all I can come up with for now so I will leave you with a picture! And after the week we have had I doubt this will be my only glass. Also, I’ve been up since 5:45 AM since teething sucks. Cheers!
