Scored Some Unreal Deals on #CookiesKids #CBias

There are tons and tons of websites out there for online shopping for children’s clothing. I recently was introduced to, The Kids Department Store. Its a great site to find clothing for your infant, toddler, and adolescent. Cookies Kids has many of the big brand names we are all familiar with too.
Gabriella is growing by leaps and bounds and at 21 months she is already wearing a size 2T in all of her summer clothes. I can’t justify spending a ton of money on her clothes when she may get just one or two wears out of it. So, I’m looking for deals. And, now that we have moved to New York and I am pretty unfamiliar with where I am driving I have taken to the internet to do most of my shopping. Plus, I can shop while Gabriella is playing and doing what she likes to do. She isn’t into shopping yet, but I’m sure that will change.
I looked through Gabriella’s summer wardrobe and noticed that it could use some more dresses. We have been in quite the heatwave lately and a dress is just so easy and cool for a little girl. I found three that I had to have. First, this cute Hello Kitty dress in turquoise for just $9.99, second a Carter’s dress for just $4.99, and lastly a U.S. Polo dress for $9.99. Each of these items was more than fifty percent off the retail price! And, because I had created an account with Cookies Kids, they sent me an email with a promotion code that I also used. That is my kind of deal. I like the idea of one stop shopping for so many different brands and even toys. I can see myself using this site to order a birthday gift for an upcoming party we have to attend. I can get a great outfit and a toy all without breaking the bank.
Such a easy breezy dress for these dog days of summer.
This dress will be great dinner out in Newport next month.
Say cheese!
There are many more items I want to purchase from Cookies Kids within the next few weeks as I start to gear up for Fall. I clipped some items to my Polyvore board so I wouldn’t forget. $5.99 for skinny jeans! You bet I’ll be buying these today. Are you already thinking about your little ones fall fashion?

A brief history on Cookies Kids as they celebrate 40 years!

In 1972, a young man named Cookie and his brother Marvin went into business together. They rented a 1600 square foot store in Jamaica, Queens, fixed it up, bought inventory and Summer and Fall, and opened a day after Thanksgiving with a full stock of holiday toys. The toys were a success and they put the extra money toward buying children’s clothing for the next season. When that did well, they bought more clothing. The business was on it’s way.As the brothers Cookie, Marvin and Sonny, who had come in as a third partner in the business, began to open new stores in new locations, inventory expanded. Besides the latest fashions, our customers wanted shoes, toys, backpacks and accessories and we were prepared to deliver.By the late 1990’s there were six superstores throughout the NYC area, and though they previously had different names, by that time they were all named Cookie’s Kids. Also in the late ’90s came an important addition to Cookie’s Kids’ inventory: school uniforms. It was the steady success in uniform sales that paved the way for founding in 2007, which originally sold uniforms and soon after the entire Cookie’s Kids Inventory.
