Easy Chicken Pot Pie #Recipe | Tasty Tuesday!

First of all let me apologize for not posting anything for Tasty Tuesday for the past two weeks. {Hangs head}. I have good excuses though! ๐Ÿ™‚ The first week I moved my blog from Blogger to WordPress. Maybe you noticed a few things different here and there. During those couple of days I couldn’t post anything. The week after that I was in Rhode Island for a final summer vacation that turned out to be nothing like that at all since I had a nasty summer cold with a hacking cough. And, I was not in the mood to cook, eat, or think about food. Meh.

Any-who…on to this weeks recipe!

Easy Chicken Pot Pie

Ingredients:

  • 1 can or box of condensed cream of chicken soup {10 3/4 ounces}
  • 1 package {about 9 ounces} frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
  • 1 cup cubed cooked chicken or turkey
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup all-purpose baking mix
  • Fresh herbs such as rosemary.

Method:

  • Heat the oven to 400F.
  • Stir the soup, vegetables and chicken or turkey in a 9-inch pie plate.
  • Stir the milk, egg, fresh herbs, and baking mix in a small bowl. Spread the batter over the meat mixture.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until the topping is golden brown.

  3. haha, I posted a pot pie recipe today too! Almost the same recipe, except mine uses a pre-made crust.
