I made something! There’s something about the Fall weather that makes me feel crafty. Maybe it’s the chill in the air. Anyway, I keep seeing and pinning yarn wrapped wreaths on Pinterest. Well, I finally got my butt in the car and drove to my local Michael’s for the supplies. Of course I was excited to make a Fall themed wreath.
First, I found the flowers that I would use as the decorations and from there I found my yarn and wreath form. Basically I cheated and bought multicolored yarn which makes it look like I spent countless hours wrapping several different colors. Yea right! Also, I wanted to make my own felt flowers, but I was so anxious to get this project started and finished I just bought some already made. Total cost was about ten dollars for supplies.
To make your own yarn wrapped wreath you’ll need:
- wreath form
- hot glue + hot glue gun
- yarn
- any decorations you want
Have you made a yarn wreath yet? I’m thinking crazy thoughts right now and have several in mind.

Super fun!! Love it! I get crafty in the fall too. My next project will be something for my mantle!
Oh, I LOVE it! I may have to `steal` your idea!
That is GORGEOUS! So cute!! I love the colors and the little felt flowers! I made a yarn wreath once and it’s still on my door (I took it off during July so I could have a RW&B decoration). I can’t wait to make a Halloween one!!! I’ve been thinking of ideas for it for about a month lol!
I’m definitely pinning this.
Feel free to come link up to my I <3 My Blog {Hop}!

Aw super cute!!! I love it! Thanks for sharing with me!
That is awesome! Is the yarn you used multi-colored? It looks like 1 continuous piece, right? I am making one this weekend!
Yep, multicolored yarn.
That looks so cool. I will have to make one. I love that you used multicolor yarn- silly me would have probably tried to use different colors and tie them together- it would not have been good.
That is so cute! I want one for my house!
What a lovely wreath! Looks like something even this amateur could replicate. Well, maybe
But it’s still beautiful

I absolutely love the colors you used. It turned out so adorably. I really need to get a hot glue gun and drag my butt out to the craft store and make one…or eight
