2012 Blogger & Twitter Holiday Gift Exchange!

Last year I decided to hold my first ever online gift exchange! It was super fun and I got an awesome gift from a twitter pal in the midwest! Three beautiful ornaments for my tree. I can’t wait to hang them this year! Don’t you just love that about ornaments…remembering where each one came from? 🙂

You can buy anything you wish. I just used my gift as an example.

Elfster is the site that will do everything for you to participate. Once everyone has signed up Elfster will pick a match for you. Just send your match a gift by the December 17th deadline {so they get it before the holidays. Who doesn’t like getting a gift in the mail?

  1. this was so much fun last year! I have the ornament for you on my tree this year!!!

  2. Candice,
The gift exchange is a wonderful way to share and to socialize. We raised 5-children and now have 9 grandchildren, and I don’t know how we would budget for all those gifts without an organized gift swap.
We have been doing an online version of the white elephant gift exchange since all the kids moved away. It is wonderful to stay connected and share gifts, even at a distance.
My husband Bruce and I have even started blogging about our gift exchange experiences on the AlbinoPhant blog.
Thanks for sharing one more way to share gifts and the spirit of Christmas via the internet.
    Sarah and Bruce Christensen
