Saturday’s Top 5 Laughs!

Ahhhh, its Saturday. But its the Saturday BEFORE Christmas. 🙂 Are you ready to go? I still have some shopping to do…don’t tell. Guess I’ll be one of those people out this weekend buying last minute gifts. I’m excited to shop at my local shops in RI though.

We landed in Rhode Island yesterday. We drove through what seemed like a hurricane with flooding rain and crazy wind. Somehow we managed to still get here in the usual 2.5 hours.

Time for the laughs!

  1. G has become a tap dancing maniac. We have all hardwoods on the first floor. She likes me to put on her “fancy shoes” which means patent leather so she can tap tap tap all over the floor. Its hilarious. I have to catch this on video for sure. A little dancer after my own heart. Mommy was quite the tap dancer back in the day. 🙂
  2. One of the shows G likes to watch, even though there is just one episode, is Sophia the First. We watch it every morning when she wakes up and drinks her milk. I actually enjoy it myself! Well, Princess Sophia goes to sleep during part of the show. G likes to say, “Princess night night, GiGi night night.” There is also a part of the show when Sophia is sad and this makes G very upset. She actually had tears one day while explaining to me why Sophia was sad. I think its just so fascinating to watch G explore her emotions.
  3. We still use this sleep sheep soother when G goes to bed every night. She likes to listen to the sound of the ocean while she falls to sleep…but who doesn’t right? Now that she can reach it {it hangs over the side of the crib} she turns it on herself every night!
  4. We can’t eat anything without G wanting us to share. But, sometimes T.J. just wants to eat something in its entirety. Well, the other day I saw him standing in the corner of the front hall, lights off, eating a cereal bar! I burst into hysterics. How funny is it that he has to hid to have a snack?!
  5. While driving to Rhode Island yesterday G had no nap! She took her shoe off and put it on her head. She then sang happy birthday to herself for at least 30 minutes. Impromptu happy birthday hat? Toddlers are so odd some times!

Have a great weekend!
