3 Ingredient Cookies :: Tasty Tuesday!

It’s been a while since I posted a recipe for Tasty Tuesday. I wasn’t in to cooking or baking the weeks in between our move and birth of our second daughter. It all happened within a very short timeframe.

Now, we are into our second week of a heatwave and even with central air conditioning I’m not up for anything labor intensive in the kitchen.

Since I’m up in the wee hours of the night nursing Val, I’ve been spending a lot of time on Pinterest.

I found this great recipe that uses only three ingredients and is perfect for G to help make. And, we made these while my parents were here over the weekend. G had a blast mashing the bananas and adding all the ingredients to the bowl. She even ate some raw batter which isn’t a big deal in this case since there is no raw egg. ๐Ÿ™‚


  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed up
  • 1 cup quick cooking oats
  • Add chocolate chips, coconut or nuts if you like.


  • Mix all ingredients together and drop onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes! Yum!
