Heal faster after labor & get that milk flowing!

Indian Ayurvedic treats & teas for lactation and postpartum healing.

In continuation of my support for breastfeeding mothers for National Breastfeeding month I am excited to share with you Mrs. Patel’s Indian treats and teas for nursing mothers!

My breastfeeding journey wasn’t easy with my first born. Luckily, this time around has been a different and more positive experience. For one, I have much more knowledge than I did the first time, even though I thought I knew it all then. Granted, each baby is different, but some things truly remain the same.

Mrs. Patel’s offers wonderful products that help aid mothers with postpartum recovery, difficulties with their milk supply, and those pumping working mothers who simply just want to maintain their supply and keep up with their breastfeeding.

I was so thankful to receive the following products to review during my recovery and breastfeeding journey:

  • Fenugreek Bars: Increase milk supply and aids in joint healing. Take one a day in the morning. Each delicious bar contains 5% fenugreek. Can be frozen for up to three months or refrigerated for 2-3 weeks. These bars are SO delicious and come in three flavors original, peanut butter, and chocolate!
  • Milk Water Tea {Herbal Blend & Chai Spice}: The strongest lactation agent Mrs. Patel’s offers as well as a postpartum detoxifier. Both teas are caffeine-free and do not contain fennel or fenugreek. Simply steep tea for 5-7 minutes and prepare as you like. You can reuse the tea leaves for up to three cups. I love tea and I have been drinking it black. Simply delicious.
  • Munch Crunch: Best to take after meal because it aids in digestion while it increases milk. Sprinkle it on salad, in yogurt or on its own. I personally love it on my salads.

I’ve been using the products over the past month and have certainly noticed an increase in my supply. I wanted to up my production to pump and start a reserve supply so that I would be able to bottle feed Valentina. I even personally ordered another box of the bars after receiving the review box because they are that delicious!  I have noticed one thing, I have a sweet smell, similar to maple syrup. At first I thought I was going crazy because I was always smelling this sweet smell. Then, I read that it could be a side effect of fenugreek. Guess it could be worse right? Showers are a gift some days! 🙂

Now a real special treat! One of YOU, my lovely readers, can enter to WIN your own Mrs. Patel’s combo package! Package includes fenugreek bars, milk water tea, and munch crunch! Bars and tea flavor of your choice! A $34.00 value!
