Angelcare :: Digital Video, Movement and Sound Monitor {Review}

Disclosure: This review was made possible by the Angelcare brand. I was provided the featured product free of charge to facilitate my review, but all opinions are 100% mine.

When G was born, we lived in a small two bedroom apartment. A baby monitor wasn’t something I even considered since G’s bedroom was directly across from ours and I could see her sleeping in her crib from my bed. Sure, once in a while I thought about getting a monitor after she was born…maybe I wanted to sit out side for a bit with the dog while she napped or run to the basement to do laundry. But, I was never really far enough out of her range for the purchase to be necessary.

Fast forward to the here and now and I have a newborn and a new house with two levels and lots of outside that my now toddler wants to explore. Since Val was born in June, G really didn’t want to be sitting inside all day when the sun is shining. She wanted to be outside in her pool or on a really hot day, downstairs in the finished basement playroom area. Now, a monitor was undoubtably necessary.

Awesome for me, at the same time I realized I needed a monitor and was researching all the different brands and kinds online, the folks at Angelcare reached out. It was meant to be! 🙂

I was sent the Angelcare Digital Video, Movement and Sound Monitor to review. I was totally thrilled to be sent a video monitor. I have heard such great things about them. Set up took only a few minutes. The longest part of the setup is charging the parents base unit, which is about 10 hours or overnight. I know hearing your baby cry out is a good thing with a monitor, but there is nothing more satisfying than seeing there little face in the monitor and knowing that they are okay. You really can’t put a price on a mother’s peace of mind.
