Tasty Tuesday :: Dairy Free Milk Making Shake

Tasty Tuesday :: Dairy Free Milk Making Shake

Here is another really quick recipe I developed to boost my milk for my freezer stash. Its based on one of my favorite smoothies I created when I was first pregnant with G. I think it tastes even better this way and its toddler approved without the addition of the brewers yeast. 🙂

Ingredients:

  • 1 frozen banana (When bananas are on their way out, I peel them and store them in a freezer bag in the freezer.)
  • 1/2 cup of quick oats
  • 1 cup of vanilla almond milk
  • dash of cinnamon
  • 1-2 tbsp of brewers yeast (found at GNC)
  • 1 tbsp of flax seed meal
  • 1 tbsp agave

Method:

  1. Put everything into the blender and blend until smooth! If you don’t have a frozen banana you can use fresh and add ice.
  2. Add dairy free whipped cream to make it fancy.
  3. Enjoy!

Comments

  1. Is the yeast or the flax seed that help boost it?
