Hoot for Kids – Monthly Treasure Box
Disclosure: I received items for my review. All opinions are mine alone.
Who doesn’t LOVE to get packages? I am always looking for the next fun thing for my kids – especially when it includes a monthly surprise box of new toys!
We have been getting Hoot for Kids recently – a treasure box customized just for Anthony. Being the third child he can easily get *overlooked* and leave him with lots of hand me down toys. (Does he mind? Not sure…but I get Mom guilt.) This was the perfect solution! A monthly box of brand new goodies just for him!
Our first Hoot box arrived very soon after I set up the account and filled in the details to be sure he would receive a box best suited for his age and activity level. Each box is carefully curated with three or more toys that are engaging and fun!
The box is adorably packaged with bright colors and once opened the wrapping is nice and neat with a personalized note.
Here is what was in our first box:
5 Little Monkeys Puppet Book – If you do not know the song already now is the time to learn this fun tune! After reading this story have fun on the ground bumping around with a pillow or two and act it out! This book is great for fine motor, sensory, and visual motor/ perceptual skills.
Safari Mini Rollers: This jungle roller is designed for small hands and encourages pretend play on its own or coupled with other jungle animals. Great for fine motor skills.
Number Stack Pancakes: This can also be used for pretend play as your child can serve up a pancake meal. Challenge your little one to scoop them up and flip them onto a plate. It’s a great way to sequence numbers left to right. Great for working on visual motor/perceptual and fine motor.
Hoot for Kids works with some excellent brands giving you those high quality toys you would expect to find in a small children’s toy store or boutique. Anthony and his sisters have had a great time playing together with these new toys. One of my kids most fun activities is playing in their toy kitchen and of all the accessories we already have – pancakes was not one of them! You can only imagine the excitement for one of their favorite breakfast foods!
I look forward to our next box – you can choose to subscribe and get just one box to try it out – or get 3, 6, or 12 boxes! I think this would make an excellent gift – one that keeps on giving and the age ranges from newborn to six years. You can also add items to your monthly box to kick it up a notch for say a birthday where you could add a birthday bear or birthday crown!
What do you think? Would you try Hoot for Kids for your child?
