Happy Fourth of July
I hope you had a wonderful fourth of July! I love taking these repeat photos of the kids from year to year to see how they’ve grown – except for 2015 (whoops).
Look how tall Anthony is next to Valentina! It is incredible how big he has gotten – they wear the same size clothing, 3T and his foot is one size larger than hers. And during her kindergarten year – Gabriella has gotten so much taller than she was a year ago.
All their outfits and shoes are from Hanna Anderson. Obsessed.
We spent the day hanging out at home before grilling out with the neighbors. I mentioned before how we have such awesome neighbors with kids the same ages as our own. Best of all we get along great! Nothing like having great neighbors – we’ve had our share of yucky ones!
It was a beautiful sunny day – the kids had a great time hanging in the yard most of the day and NAPS! My four and two year old had great two hour naps at the same time! We drove out to Legoland in New York (more on that coming up this week) on Monday and the kids had a blast. It is about an hour drive from door to door, but it made for a long day with all the activities and excitement. Kids went right to sleep that night!
We have been keeping the kids super busy since school let out. The girls had nature camp last week, we’ve been hitting up the farmer’s markets, the parks, swimming, and everything else in between. Two weeks into summer vacation and I’m ready for my own vacation day!
We are headed to our favorite beach tomorrow and I can’t wait. The beach is so relaxing to me and I know it will be just the recharge I need. Our first of many trips to the sun, sand and ocean. I. Can’t. Wait!
