Get Ready for Back to School with Outshine Bars
Gabriella went back to school last Thursday! My neighbor had an excellent idea to welcome the kids home off the bus after their long day with popsicles! She grabbed OUTSHINE and had them packed into a little cooler with ice awaiting the buses arrival. The kids were hungry, so happy and surprised getting off the bus to have popsicles! The weather was absolutely gorgeous and it was a great way to end the day!
We sent the kids off early in the morning with the hopes that they would have a great first day. You never really know how their day is going to go once they leave your sight?? The first day of school is both exciting and nerve-racking so emotions are running HIGH! Will they like their new teacher? Will they eat all their lunch? Who will they have in their class? Gabriella knew who her teacher was, what her new classroom would like like and what kids would be in her class, but she still had a lot to talk about once she was off the bus that afternoon!
I had also grabbed a few boxes at my local STOP & SHOP to replenish our popsicle stash. We have a fridge/freezer in our garage as an extra for drinks/overflow of foods and frozen items. I always keep a box of OUTSHINE in the garage freezer for when the kids are having in the yard and want a quick treat! Its great for when the kids have friends over too because they don’t all have to trample through the house to get drinks and snacks!
It really is the little gestures like this that kids remember! This could easily become a annual tradition we have with our neighbors on the first day of school!
OUTSHINE POPSICLES are our family favorite which says a lot when you have five people with individual taste. The variety boxes of Outshine have flavors we LOVE like lime, strawberry, raspberry, grape, cherry, grape, and tangerine! We recently tried the SIMPLY YOGURT bars too – so good!
OUTSHINE bars are made with good stuff. So, I don’t mind my kids have one or TWO bars as a healthy snack. Outshine uses healthy, fresh ingredients like real fruit or fruit juice providing an excellent source of vitamin C. With no high fructose corn syrup and no artificial colors or flavors I feel confident giving this snack to my kids.
