Another Birthday NOT Another Wrinkle
Happy Monday guys!
I woke up this morning and reached for my phone as I normally do. Checked the time and then looked at my emails. An email that caught my attention was the free drink reward from Starbucks. I was excited for the possibility of a free iced coffee in my near future. Well, after opening the email I found it to be my free birthday drink. I had pretty much forgotten that my birthday is TOMORROW.
OMG. I’m going to be THIRTY NINE! Birthdays don’t usually set me off, but this one is pretty insane with that 40 number being next!
I can see myself getting older in the mirror. It is obvious my skin isn’t the same as it was when I looked in the mirror at 21. I’ve had three kids, I’ve lived a lot of this life and my hands and face are starting to show the years I’ve accumulated.
I kid with my husband at night when I’m getting ready for bed about all the different serums and lotions I have to put on my face. I have a variety of items and I mix them up. The goal to keep my skin looking youthful. Is that wishful thinking or something that can be done?
I have some especially noticeable (to me) lines/expression marks that are a bit irritating. Inbewtsween my eyebrows is one of those places I catch myself staring at while I rub my night cream in an upward motion!
I’ve mentioned here the StriVectin products I’ve used. They most recently send me their new Wrinkle Recode. A line transforming melting serum that is suppose to visibly reduces deep wrinkles and restores a youthful radiance.
Here is how I apply the Wrinkle Recode:
PUMP // one pearl-sized drop into palm or on to fingertips. WARM // the product between your hands to help the serum emulsify (melt). PRESS // the serum gently into skin avoiding eye area. TRANSFORM // notice how all dimensions of deep, stubborn wrinkles and creases are visibly diminished in just 7 days. Apply AM and PM on your clean face.
This super-concentrated serum melts luxuriously into the skin, reducing the look of wrinkles while improving skin tone and clarity at a hyper speed. Inspired by the revolutionary science of epigenetics, this high-tech serum with BioRecode Technology revitalizes skin’s own wrinkle fighting abilities to reduce the look of deep, stubborn lines and creases. And unlike typical serums that include water at the top of their ingredient lists, this luxurious formula is super concentrated, with a super power list of potent ingredients. Youth-renewing oils mimic fatty acids naturally found in skin to replenish and retain moisture while skin tone optimizers improve radiance and clarity. I usually am a bit concerned with trying out new products as my skin can be sensitive. So far this Wrinkle Recode serum hasn’t irritated my skin. After about 5 days I’ve noticed some improvements already. I’m pleasantly surprised. This has a very subtle minty scent. Not like chewing gum mint, but fresh mint. So, if you are sensitive to scents, I just want to give you that tip. I will be sure to update this post with a before and after photo so you can see my full results after 7-10 days. So much cheaper than botox, but an investment in your skin at $89.
