Bring the Pizzeria to Your Kitchen with Pizzer Time!
This is a partnered post with Pizzer Time. All opinions are mine alone.
Hey! Do you skip one night of meal prepping and planning during the week and opt for eating out or delivery? We absolutely do! There is nothing I look forward to more than Friday nights. First its the end of the week for all the things for us like school, sports and activities. It is our true day off. I’ve planned it to be like that for years now and I hope I can keep it like that for a long while! Anyway, it is also my “night off” from cooking!
Friday night here is always PIZZA night!
Anthony, at nearly four years old, often asks me each morning when he wakes up what day it is. He wants to know if its his favorite day – FRIDAY – because he LOVES pizza!
Recently we discovered Pizzer Time! Just like several of the meal deliveries you’ve seen out there this is a pizza box meal delivered to your door! My kids LOVE to get in the kitchen to help and this is the perfect way to get them involved with meal time.
The Pizzer Time box was shipped to my door on Friday morning. It was carefully wrapped so all the ingredients came to us super fresh and ready for us to put together. They even sent me a small roller for the dough, a pizza pan, and a pizza cutter! I didn’t have to supply a thing except my oven!

The kids were super excited to make pizza which surprised me a bit since they are super loyal to a few local pizza shop here in our town. With five of us in the house and lots of locally owned pizza shops here seems like each of us has a favorite!
When you order from the Pizzer Time site, you can totally customize your pizza just the way you like it as if you called your favorite local pizza shop. First you pick how many pizzas you’d like to receive and the frequency. Two pies is plenty for our family of five for dinner. I usually serve a fresh salad along with our pizza and we always have leftovers of everything for lunch the next day. You can order two, three or four pies and have them delivered weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. You must order on a Monday for delivery the same week. The ingredients are THAT fresh.
Next after you chose your subscription you can pick your toppings which include pepperoni, meatballs, mushroom, sausage, extra cheese or sauce. We picked one meatball and one pepperoni for our first order. First time subscribers receive the two pan pizza cooking set for just $10! Totally worth it if you don’t have a pizza stone or sheet to cook your pizza.
I let the dough set out from the fridge on the counter for a few minutes to come to room temperature. I have found that this makes the dough easier to manipulate and roll out with much less effort. This dough is really nice to work with – I am super picky about pizza dough. I’ve had family drive dough in bulk from our home state, Rhode Island during visits because I’m that picky!
The rolling pin they sent is perfect for rolling out the dough with small hands. Great for the kids to take turns getting that nice thing or think round crust. All the directions are included on a card so if you’ve never made pizza DO NOT FRET. You can even watch their YouTube video before you bake if you have any reservations about making pizza at home.
My kids were freaking out while the pizza cooked. It smelled SO GOOD in my house! From start to finish we had fresh hot pizza right from the oven in thirty minutes. That is totally the same amount of time it would take to call, order a pizza, and pick it up.
Pizzer Time is based in New York. You know what is legendary in NY? PIZZA! There is no doubt about tasting a slice of hot NYC pizza. A lot of places say they are serving NYC style pizza, but nothing compares. This Pizzer Time was right on point. The sauce was excellent – not too spicy and not too sweet. The cheese is freshly grated Mozzarella and the sprinkle of Parmesan is perfection!
If you’ve been following me here for awhile you know I really don’t eat gluten, but pizza is such a weakness especially hot from my own oven! I had to sample our work and it was really delicious.
This would be such a fun way to celebrate the end of your busy week especially with school starting. What do you think? Would you try making pizza night a thing at your house with PIZZER TIME? COUPON CODE: SUMMER50 for 50% off the first box
