Saturday’s Top 5 Laughs!

September 14, 2012

Its NOT funny, but G has missed TWO naps this week. She is also waking up a few times during the night and crying out for me, but I just shout out from my bed and tell her to go back to sleep. Thank goodness, she does, but I am so tired and this Mama needs a break.

Tomorrow I want to check out this Stormville Airport Antique Show and Flea-Market! Ever been to anything like it? Have a great weekend!

  1. G was “helping” me get dressed the other morning and she did so by walking around with my bra on her head calling it a hat!
  2. One of her favorite new things to do is lie next to the dog and use him as a cushion. Luckily he doesn’t seem to mind.
  3. While shopping at the local market, DiCicco’s G said, “Dada” and I told her that Dada was at work. Then she pointed and said, “Dada” again and when I looked over she was pointed at the beer! HAHA! That’s great, right? Mama only drinks wine and she doesn’t know that secret yet. 🙂
  4. Everyday I pretty much eat the same boring lunch. Turkey and cheese on one of those thin 100 calorie sandwich breads. Now, every.single.time I say cheese, G replies, “Turkey”?
  5. When getting our first pumpkin spice lattes of the season at the local Starbucks, I decided it would be fun to get G a cake pop. She wasn’t sure what to make of it at first, but once she realized how sugary it was she starting chomping away. She ate about half and then freaked out that her hands were dirty. I handed her a wet wipe {we were driving and I was in the front seat riding passenger} and by the time we got home she was covered in pink sticky cake pop mess and so was the wet wipe.

LOL She is too funny to know that cheese and turkey now go together. Looks like she wasn’t sure about that special treat – cake pop. Amazing how much they take in at that age. I haven’t been to a flea market in ages, used to love them and work one.

Yes. She is more of a savory type of gal rather than sweets. 🙂
