No nonsense and Timex My Two Must Haves for Summer to Fall Transition
Disclosure: I received the following items for free. Regardless, I only recommend items I personally use.
I mentioned how we are back from our Rhode Island beach trip. I have to tell you about a few items I packed and found invaluable during my week long vacation.
Timex is a brand most of us are familiar with. They have been making watches for 160 years and their pieces are timeless. 🙂 With so many styles to choose from, there is something for everyone. I bet you have a Timex watch in your jewelry box or know someone who does.
I had been wanting a white banded watch for a few years now, and I was thrilled to see Timex offering this Sport Chronograph. It was perfect for my summer chasing my girls. A sporty and elegant design and best of all, water resistant to 50 meters! I know we all have a clock on our cell phone, but I don’t always have my phone handy. I love the look and feel of a watch, and this piece feels just like a bracelet. Its always easily there for me to see on my wrist. When I was on the beach, the last thing I wanted to be juggling was my phone because what a costly replacement if it were to get wet! You can’t beat the price point on many of the Timex watches, this beauty was less than $100. Its stood up to a lot over the past month and I know its built to last. I’ve got a nice “watch tan line” too to be a nice reminder of our days spent out in the summer sun. 🙂
The second item I packed for our summer vacation that is also helping me transition to Fall with the up and down temperatures are my No nonsense denim leggings and Capris. Another brand with tons of retail longevity. I can even remember way back to my childhood and my Mom and Grandmother shopping for their pantyhose! Anyway, these leggings come in a variety of colors and styles and again, the price point is unbeatable at less than $20. I have been wearing them while pregnant too since stretch and elastic waists are the only thing I am wearing. The fabric is amazing and washes and wears well. You can pair these with any top and be ready for a fun night out or running errands around town. Dress them up or dress them down the choice is yours!
Here I am, 31 weeks pregnant with my third and easily put together this little ensemble for preschool drop off. Pardon my headless shot, but no makeup! At least my outfit is cute. 🙂
