Marvelous in My Monday #MIMM
I figure I’ll start the week with Monday even though it is Tuesday.
Last week was school vacation for my ladies. We were lucky to have some amazing weather and I took full advantage getting the kids outside. We had play-dates, went to the library and for our first froyo of the season, a nature hike and lots of time at the playground. Anthony is really enjoying his freedom on his feet!
We had a very packed weekend and it was nice to take the time off from social media – besides my beloved Instagram. 😉
Gabriella had her first soccer game of the season. She has been talking about playing soccer since last summer when she played in a week long soccer camp. I figured we could squeeze in another activity as dance concludes in late May. But, for now Saturday mornings are wild with dance from 830-930 and soccer from 930-1030 – we will be arriving a few minutes late to the practices a couple of times.
Saturday afternoon we enjoyed the beautiful weather and hung out in the yard. We have a ton of winter cleanup to do and we started planting the flower pots and putting out some summer furniture. The sun feels SO good, but it is definitely time to remember to put on the sunblock and grab the kids hats. I noticed after soccer G had some sun under her eyes on the tops of her cheeks!
Sunday we did some more yard work, enjoyed lunch on the deck, and went for ice cream at our favorite local dairy farm, Ferris Acres. They opened the shop a week ago and we have been waiting patiently all winter. Well, most everyone else had the same idea since the temperature was around 75, but waiting in line was totally worth it – it was super delicious!
Yesterday was back to business with school and planning out the week. The temperature yesterday truly felt like summer and dare I say it was *hot* – but we enjoyed hanging in the yard after school pickup and getting a ton of vitamin D!
Have a wonderful week!
