Fashion Finds // 5 Pieces You Need for Summer
Although it doesn’t feel much like summer here in Connecticut, I have some key pieces ready to go as soon as the weather warms up.
We keep having tons of rain – TONS. Most days the temperature isn’t even getting to 70 degrees! I was in a hoodie and sweatpants yesterday after I took the girls to a birthday party. Then, I was drinking hot tea!
So, like I said, we are ready and waiting for the warmer days where we can bare some more skin, wear just one layer, and have our toes out!
Remember the days of capri pants? I think those days are long gone and I have donated every last pair. Shorts and ankle length pants are the way to go – cropped pants hitting me mid-calf never helped me look taler anyway!
I needed to get shorts. I think I had maybe two pairs and neither were denim. I am not a shorts kinda person – but when it is hot and you want to keep yourself covered, shorts are the way. Also, T’s. Stockpile t-shirts in every color. Target often has sales on some super soft Massimo brand T’s for like $5 a piece. My favorite color for a T is white so definitely stock up on every white T you like.
