McDonald’s All Day Breakfast

I don’t often skip breakfast. I make sure most mornings I have my coffee poured and my breakfast in my bowl or plate before my kids are sitting at the table waiting on their breakfast. I find if I don’t do it this way – the morning gets away from me and then I am in the van driving to activities or school and my stomach is growling like a bear.
Coffee is not a substitute for breakfast. Not in my case anyway.
If I find myself driving and without anything in the van to munch on I have to stop and grab something on the go. I head to my local McDonald’s where I can get a delicious hot breakfast served to me from the drive-thru window! Time is of the essence for most of us Moms – am I right?
I look to my McDonald’s mobile app before I get to the window to pay for my order. The app is full of awesome deals like buy 1 get 1 FREE breakfast sandwiches. I bought a Sausage Egg & Cheese McMuffin® and got 1 free. I warmed it up for my oldest gal after camp and she ate it for lunch. We are huge breakfast any-time-of-day eaters here so she was excited about the mid-day breakfast surprise.
Did you know the perfectly round eggs found in Egg McMuffin® sandwiches look and taste so good every time because they are made at restaurants by freshly cracking and cooking a USDA grade A egg into an egg ring?? Nothing is added to the eggs! Real butter is used on the English muffins, biscuits and bagels on the breakfast menu (instead of liquid margarine). By the year 2025 all eggs will be 100% cage-free in the U.S. and Canada.
If I hadn’t already had my cup of coffee at home I would have grabbed one of their yummy iced coffee’s. McDonald’s iced coffee is made with 100% Arabica beans, cream and your choice of flavored syrups – caramel, hazelnut, French vanilla and sugar-free French vanilla. French Vanilla is my favorite!
Time may be short but we cannot be skipping meals – especially breakfast which is THE most important of the day. You haven’t eaten all night!! Don’t skip breakfast and find yourself ruffling through the pantry around lunchtime eating odds and ends because you are starved.
Have you tried breakfast at McDonald’s lately?
