Game Day Outfit Inspiration
Gusty the BIG GAME is coming up! Do you have a fun party to head to or are you hosting one at home? I’ll be cheering on my New England team and you better believe I’ll be dressed for the part! I even get my kids dressed in “game day” apparel! It has been a family affair since Gabriella was a baby!
I like to go with a casual and comfortable look. It can be a long game so I want to be sure I am comfortable in my clothes. As always, I try to pull pieces from my closet for inspiration. I have a Patriots hooded sweatshirt from years ago, but sometimes I like to switch it up! Weather can be tricky here too this time of year. One day it is -20 degrees and a few days later it can be 50. I most likely want to be in layers, and a pair of jeans with a little stretch because ALL THE YUMMY GAME DAY FOODS.

FOR THE LADIES
Not really a football superfan but still want to feel festive? Get dressed in the Patriots colors and choose accessories that complement the look.
Keep it stylish and comfortable by opting for a casual pair of sneakers that compliment your favorite pair of skinny jeans.
Adding a scarf or beanie to your look not only helps keep you warm but it also adds a sleek finishing touch.
If you’re a football enthusiast, cheer on your favorite team in comfort with a sleek athleisure wear look.
FOR THE KIDS
Game day colors are pretty much easy to pull from a kids wardrobe. I’ve totally splurged before and bought the girls Patriots cheerleader outfits and this insanely adorable leg warmers that look like footballs! Anthony has worn a tiny Pat’s jersey before. They all have outgrown this pieces, but I’m keeping them as little mementos!
Gabriella is wearing a red Vineyard Vines Fleece, blue striped leggings, and those fancy leg warmers from when she was 2! Anthony is wearing a tiny NFL Patriots jersey from when Gabriella was 2. All the kids have worn it. Valentina is wearing random leggings that I found in her closet, and a Patriots T from Old Navy!
FOR THE GUYS
Don’t own any team apparel? Show your spirit by dressing in team colors. And the best part is, you can wear the same items during the offseason too.
Comfort is key, but so is fit. Avoid looking sloppy by ensuring your off-duty look features pieces that fit well. Think slim-fit jeans and a bomber jacket with hardware detailing.
Sneakers can make or break the look. Opt for casual tennis shoes such as Adidas or Nikes that add a bit of polish to any look.
If you’re there just for the snacks, opt for fuss-free and machine washable clothing just in case you end up getting distracted by the commercials and making a mess mid-bite.
