Disney on Ice Worlds of Enchantment Highlights and Recap
We had such a wonderful time at Disney on Ice last night! It was the first time in a few years all five of us went to the show. They have switched up the routine quite a bit from last year being mostly a Frozen/Elsa performance. This year the lineup included Mickey and Minnie and their friends as the hosts, the cast of The Little Mermaid, Barbie and Ken, the entire gang of toys from Toy Story, and even the crazy Cars from the Cars movies like Lightning McQueen and Mater!
There definitely isn’t a bad seat in the place. All of the effects and music and skating can be seen from any viewpoint. I had several friends go over the weekend with their families and they couldn’t say enough good things about the show. My kids are eight, five and four and they all enjoyed it. They each talked about their favorite highlights on the car ride home.
I want to share a few tips if going to see the Disney on Ice Worlds of Enchantment show! If you are going to the Webster Bank Arena here in Connecticut there is a parking garage right next door and parking is just $10. It is definitely worth it for a quick entrance and exit from the show. Also, dress warmly in layers. It is an ice show after all so you will probably be wearing your coat, hat, and gloves inside while you watch. It won’t be fun a fun show if you or the kiddos are freezing for almost two hours! Best to arrive early! I’d say get to the show at least with a half hour to spare. That way you can easily find your seats while the lights are on and aren’t rushing while the show begins. Plus, you can get settled and always get back up for snacks or Ice Show light up gadgets with time to spare. There is a small intermission but that is NOT the best time to go hunt for food or the potty. Go before or after intermission and you will be in and out.
Disney On Ice Worlds of Enchantment is touring now through May nationwide! Ticket prices start at just $15!
